ELTON caused a major surprise in Under 11s Division Two by winning 7-2 at high-flying Westminster Park Tigers on Sunday.

Ben Tideswell fired four goals and Sam Coleclough three but it was Lauchlan Stanier who was Elton’s man of the match. Alexander Arunchot and William Cotgrove replied for the wounded Tigers.

Princes Villa won 4-3 at home to Groves Rangers.

Jordan Mather bagged a brilliant brace as JFC Boughton moved to within five points of top spot in Division One with a 2-0 home triumph over Westminster Park Lions.

Jack Weckerle, MoM Joe Cody and Tom Wyatt struck as Vicars Cross Dynamos won 3-2 at home to Waverton Jets.

Waverton Rockets went down 9-0 at Groves Athletic.

There is just no stopping Malpas & District in the Under 12s Division.

They maintained their 100% winning start with a 7-2 success at Chester Nomads Colts in which Mike Parsons (2), Harry Cunningham, Kieran Rose, Christophe Fostier, Joe Fitzpatrick and Patrick Horrocks got their names on the scoresheet.

Joe Polding and Harry Armatage pulled a couple of goals back for Nomads, whose MoM award went to Lee Bryce.

Upton were comfortable 9-3 winners at Vicars Cross Dynamos.

Princes Villa had it just as easy at Waverton, winning 9-1.
