WESTMINSTER Park Tigers fell 5-1 at home to Boughton in the under 9s red division. Matthew Jones hit the target for the Tigers but Liam Davies (2), Harry Cable (2) and man-of-the-match Tyler Woods sealed it for the visitors.

Malpas & District fended off visitors Christleton New Scene 3-1. Tom Thelwell Jones’ opener was quickly cancelled out by New Scene but a double from Malpas striker Lewis Neal handed victory to the hosts.

Joe Boggild’s goal could not save Saughall Colts in the orange division as they lost 5-1 to Vauxhall Motors.

Westminster Park Cougars lost 4-0 at home to Vicars Cross Dynamos in the blue division courtesy of a hat-trick from Dynamos’ MotM Tom Wyatt plus a Thomas Townsend strike. Cougars’ MotM was Nathan Jones.

The green division saw Newton Athletic and Waverton draw 3-3. MotM Stephen Carter (2) and James King-Magee were on target for the hosts while Adam Bailey, Jack Bailey and Mathew Parkinson ensured Waverton did not leave empty-handed.

In the U10s division, Upton Jaguars took the lion’s share of the goals against Westminster Park Lions, 7-3. Jack Dixon got all three of Park’s goals, while MotM was Sam Owens.

Westminster Park Tigers suffered at home to Vauxhall Astras, losing 9-0. Boughton beat Vicars Cross Dynamos 3-0 thanks to a key five-minute spell when Kieran Atkinson, Jordan Lee and and Connor Jones all scored. New signing Kyle Cooper was Boughton’s MotM, Vicars Cross’ was Joseph Hickson.

Vicars Cross Dynamos Colts fared better against Saughall Colts Blacks, winning 5-1. MotM Jamie Downs scored Saughall’s consolation goal.

Saughall Colts Blues enjoyed a 3-1 win over Vauxhall Zafiras, James Winskill, Scott Cobden and MotM Ben Nicholson all scoring.

Elton Youth suffered a 9-0 reverse against Blacon Youth, while Chester Nomads Colts slipped to a 4-2 loss at home to Malpas.

Joe Polding and Andrew Fox scored Colts’ goals but Patrick Horrocks (2), Tom Lightfoot and Josh Charlton replied. MotM was Seb Cartwright.

Newton Athletic ran out 9-1 winners at Hope Farm Hotspurs. Will Hannigan, MoM Marc Hardman, Josh Lavelle, Corey Jones and Zach Holmes shared Newton’s goals.

Newton Athletic Eagles also bagged nine goals, but hosts Waverton Wasps could offer no reply as the Eagles won 9-0. Mitchel Waring (2), Henry Smith (2), MotM Jack Rogan (3), Alex Freeman and Bradley Wong scored to seal the victory.

Helsby lost to Waverton Hornets 3-2 and Castrol beat Hoole Hornets 2-1.
