A NAIL-BITING clash saw Blacon Youth claim a 5-3 win at Saughall Blues in the Chester and District Junior League’s under 10s division.

Saughall took an lead early through Joe Warrington and James Winskill, but Blacon came back strong to make it 2-2 with James Lloyd and Jo Oliver on target.

In the second half, Blacon got three more, two from Jack Davies and one from Lewis Coppack. Saughall’s reply came in the form of man of the match Winskill’s second strike.
