Premier League newcomers Burnley will be paying a visit to the Swansway Chester Stadium this summer after Chester confirmed their first three pre-season friendlies.
Fresh from their promotion to the top tier after finishing as runners-up in the SkyBet Champiosnhip, Sean Dyche's men, who count Chester-born goalkeeper Tom Heaton among their ranks, will be the visitors when they bring a side to the Swansway on Tuesday, July 22nd.
The club have also announced that they will be sending a side to West Cheshire League side Vauxhall Motors, who resigned from the Conference North at the end of last season, on Saturday, July 12. The arrangement is part of the deal that was brokered last season to bring winger Craig Mahon to Chester from Rivacre Park.
League One side and Cheshire rivals Crewe Alexandra will visit Chester on Saturday, July 19 (3pm), for the second season running.
The club are still in the process of finalising their full pre-season schedule.
