KARL Noon bagged his second goal of the season on Saturday as Motors maintained their unbeaten start to the Skrill North season.
The visitors raced out of the blocks, with Ashley Stott hitting the crossbar after just four minutes.
It was not long before the deadlock was broken, with Noon making it 1-0 on 12 minutes.
The second half saw the home team come into it a lot more as they pressed for an equaliser.
Despite that, Andy Nicholas came close to a second Motors goal but his effort rebounded off the crossbar.
In Saturday’s West Cheshire League action, Alex Clare hit the net five times as Vauxhall Motors Reserves hammered Blacon Youth Club 8-1. In Division Two, Capenhurst Villa overcame Richmond RR Mags while Willaston lost 3-0 at Gateacre Village. In Division Two, Capenhurst’s reserves lost 2-0 at Belfry.
The Ellesmere Port Sunday League season kicks-off this weekend.
