A SECOND-HALF comeback from Chester City saw them push Championship side Swansea to the very end at the Deva Stadium last night.

Former Blues favourite Roberto Martinez returned to Chester for a pre-season friendly and his Swans took a 2-0 lead in the first half through Darren Pratley and Stefan Morrison.

But Simon Davies encouraged his players to remain lively and take the game to their opponents and it paid off in the second half, when a double from Jay Harris brought the sides level with six minutes to go.

But just a minute after the second, the Blues concentration slipped and Marcos Painter found the net with the winner.
