BLUES striker Simon Yeo was quick to shoulder his share of the blame for Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Brentford.
Missed chances proved costly and Yeo admitted he should have done better with the ones that fell his way.
He said: ‘I know I should have scored at least once, but I also know that it was just one of those days that if I’d have still been there now I still wouldn’t have scored.
‘But I wasn’t alone because we created so many good goalscoring chances. We should have been clear by half-time.’
He added: ‘It was basically a game of missed chances.
‘Brentford hit the bar during the first half and they might have scored from another chance, but I thought we deserved to win – but it was just one of those days. A bad day at the office.
‘It was a frustrating day to be a striker, but you get them from time to time and just have to take it with a pinch of salt.’
