VICS showed determination to secure the three points against bottom-of-the-league Monk Sports.
They dominated proceedings from start to finish and put in some desperate defending as Monk worked tirelessly for a share of the points.
Vics took the lead with a stunning free kick from Dan Haralambous from 25 yards out.
Monk then capitalised on several missed opportunities when their number six smashed home an equaliser.
On 68 minutes, Vics got their just rewards after piling pressure on the visitors’ back- line.
An excellent Steve Wright through ball saw Henry Buckley bravely lob the Sports’ keeper from 25 yards.
After Andy Clacher was withdrawn with an ankle knock, his replacement Alley Taylor scored one of the goals of the season.
A Haralambous corner was cleared to the edge of the box where Taylor fired a sublime half-volley like a bullet into the top corner.
Another well-taken Haralambous corner was headed in by Moore for number four.
