THE Linnets Independent Supporters' Trust (LIST) goes live this week.

The organisation's website will be back up and running before their launch this Sunday at Pavilions in Sandy Lane, Weston Point (6pm).

The website will contain the latest news and members of the Trust Steering Group are aiming for weekly updates at www.linnetstrust.co.uk

Martin Fallon (pictured), who is on the steering group, said: 'The website is the main communication that we will have with our members and the Supporters' Trust movement as a whole. We want to keep it as up to date as possible.

'All the information which supporters need is available on the site.

'This includes information on what Supporters Trusts are about and the specific aims for LIST.'

The fans' group are urging support in their quest to forge a closer relationship with Runcorn FC Halton and press for a return to their hometown.

LIST has started work on its aims, focusing most recently on rebuilding links between Runcorn FC Halton and its supporters.

Martin Fallon, who is on the LIST's Steering Group, said: 'We ask all football supporters to attend this launch. Even if you are not a follower of Runcorn, if a stadium was to be built in Runcorn in the future you would benefit.'

Bryan Flynn, chairman of Altrincham FC's STAR Trust, will give a talk about how the Robins benefited from STAR's existence.

Pavilions will be showing both the Newcastle v Everton and Liverpool v Arsenal matches on a big screen before the launch.
