AFC Waverton held hosts Bretton Super Saints to a 2-2 draw in Chester and District Junior League Under 11s section.

The eagerly anticipated top-ofthe-table clash saw the visitors open the scoring with a looping header from a corner. However, BSS struck back with Billy Foster scoring his first ever goal when he smashed in a good cross from the right from close range. Bretton scored again two minutes later as Stuart Austin volleyed home from long range to leave the keeper with no chance.

In the second half, Waverton came out strong and with three minutes left on the clock they got the equaliser they deserved when a long ball fell kindly to the striker who slotted home from four yards. Man of the Match was Bretton's Liam Wild.

In the U10s Shield, Lache Park lost 5-1 at home to Waverton Bees. James Cope and Connor McGovern each bagged a double with Matthew Bradford completing the scoring for Waverton.

In the Under 9 Cup, Malpas and District posted a 5-1 win at home against Upton Pumas. Harry Dulson got a brace with Christos Foster, Connor Fowles and Andrew Huxstable adding their contributions. MoM was Andrew Hulmes.

Blacon Youth saw off Upton Jaguars 5-1 in the U9 Shield.

Four goals from Ryan MacKay led the way with George Mortimer also getting in on the act. MoM was Emile Prince while the Jaguars' MoM was Simon Johnson.

Castrol Athletic enjoyed a 5-3 win over Waverton Hornets.

Andrew Jones struck twice with added goals from Jack Sales, Joe Burns and Zak Barnsley for Castrol. Waverton's MoM James Halligan scored a double.

In the U8s section, Lache Park were defeated by Waverton Hornets 9-0. The goals were shared between James Harker, Michael Woollam, Robert Elvey, Joe Corley and Jamie Owens.

Daniel Verity was MoM as his Waverton Wasps side went down 3-0 to Elton. The visitors' MoM, Matthew Leek, scored two with Paul Simcock also on the score-sheet.
