HAVING dominated the opening half and deservedly leading at the break, Vauxhall completely lost their way on the resumption, as Trinity's half time double substitution seemed to totally transform the pattern of this Nationwide North game.

The Motormen were much the better side in the opening 45 minutes, going close through Garrity, McNutt and Moogan and on 33 minutes, they finally broke the deadlock when Garrity played a neat ball through to Cumiskey and he finished in style.

But the introduction of Reeves and Trout at the start of the second half, completely turned this match around. Both Trinity's Ellis and Pell went close with headers and it came as no surprise when the visitors equalised on 64 minutes, as Reeves headed just inside the post from a left wing cross by Cauldwell.

Eleven minutes later it became even worse for the home club as Pell finished off another Trinity move from close range to give them the lead after Dittmer denied them the initial effort. Vauxhall's tried to hit back in the closing stages, in which Addo was clearly pushed inside the area without reward. But Trinity held on for their first League victory of the season.
