VAUXHALL Motors have sealed a new sponsorship deal with one of the region's leading law firms.

Chester-based legal practice Walker Smith Way have penned a one-year deal with the club which will help fund improvements being made to their Rivacre Park ground.

The deal will also help fund the construction of the new stand, which will be large enough to cater for the club's ambitions to break through into the Nationwide Conference.

Motors commercial manager Mike Harper said: 'We are delighted.

'The firm's generosity is hugely welcome. We have had much-valued support from Walker Smith Way for several years now.

'This new stand will help see us through to the next level. It will be capable of housing up to 500 seats, though we will be fitting it with 250 at first.'

The law firm, which also has offices in Wrexham and clients throughout Cheshire and North Wales, is keen to do all it can to help the Motormen succeed.

Walker Smith Way marketing manager Elen Rowlands, said: 'Vauxhall are big employers in this area and the club plays a leading role in the community.

'We are proud to have been associated with the club for some years and to be able to increase our involvement.'
