CHESTER CITY chairman Stephen Vaughan has held talks with his counterparts in the city's rugby union club to see if there were any initiatives that would be beneficial to both.

"I had an extremely constructive meeting with the chairman of the rugby club and one of his fellow directors," said Vaughan.

"For example, we are looking at possible sites for our Youth Academy, possibly there are opportunities with the rugby club to develop that idea.

"As far as the Deva Stadium is concerned, possibly highprofile rugby union games could be attracted to the city and played at the Deva, as well as important Chester Rugby Union Club matches."
