UPTON Blacks came away with a 9-0 win when they travelled to Vicars Cross Dynamos in the Ellesmere Port Under 13s Junior League.

Among their scorers were Gary and Adam Wilson, Sam Burgess, Brad Stanley, Jack Cartwright and Fraser Harding man-ofthe-match Callum McKenzie.

As they played catch-up with the fixture list, Upton also celebrated success in the first round of the League Cup after registering a 6-0 victory over hosts Princes Villa. Their scorers were Brad Stanley, Jack Cartwright, Tom Morgan and hat-trick hero and MoM Adam Wilson.

In their third game of the week, the Blacks secured a third decisive win, this time in their derby against Upton Blues. The 5-1 triumph came thanks to goals from Adam Wilson, Gary Wilson (2), Sam Burgess and Callum Parry. MoM was awarded to goal-keeper Luke Harrison.

* Vicars Cross Dynamos U11s lost 9-2 at home to Mold in the North Wales Girls League on Saturday. Amy Major and star player Monique Christian got on the score-sheet for the Dynamos.

This Sunday, they face touring side Corinthians from the Isle of Man at Thackery Drive, kick-off 2pm.
