ALSAGER Town lifted the Crewe and District FA Youth Challenge Cup with an impressive 4-2 win over Nantwich Town on Sunday.

The Bullets looked comfortable against the Dabbers throughout at the Cumberland Arena, and goals fromOllie Rabie, brothers Mike and Nick Davies, and Danny Beagus sealed the win.

Unbeaten Nantwich U16s had better luck. They fought back from 2-0 down to seal a 4-2 extra-time win against Longton Harriers in the Potteries Junior Youth League Cup semi-final, thanks to Nathan Southern (2), Liam Prince and Adam Woodall.

In the South Cheshire League, Nantwich U12 Dynamoes (Adam Roberts, Charlie Mills) beat Wistaston United 2-0.

In the Cheadle and District League, the U11s (Scott Williams) pipped Newcastle Town 1-0, while the U14s ( Josh Glover 3, Sam Wakefield 2) thrashed Inter Leek 5-1.
