JOEY Roberts was sent off as Middlewich reached the First Division Cup Final at Seddon Street on Saturday.
The striker was sent off for aiming an elbow at an opponent after Middlewich h edged in front.
But the numbers were balanced up in the second half when a Green-all player was dismissed at 2-2 for two bookable fouls on the same Middlewich player, Andy Whitney, within two minutes.
A mistake by Roberts on the edge of the Greenall box led to a breakaway and the away side taking the le.
Lee Murphy levelled from the penalty spot following a handball before Mike Brandon converted a Whitney centre.
Roberts received his marching orders in the 35th minute and the vistors equalised. But when they too were reduced to 10 men Middlewich were totally dominant.
Brandon raced through their de-fence to score what proved to be the winner though Town missed late chances to give themselves breathing space.
They now meet Pilkington in the final.
Barnton's match against Garswood was postponed.

* Keeping up their improved form, Winnington Avenue beat bottom team Malpas Res 2-1 to move well away from the Crewe & District League Premier Division relegation zone.
In a match switched from Malpas and played at the Avenue, the winners' goals came from Mike Begbie and Tom Ashworth.
In Division One, Cuddington trounced Sandbach Town 5-1 at Norley Ro with two goals each by Jonathan Stone and Chris Glaze and one from Ben Lawless. Cuddington now lie third behind runaway leers Lostock Gralam reserves and Sandbach United, with games in hand of both.
There are no further league fixtures until January 6, but in the Crewe FA Cup on Saturday Cuddington host Avenue and Avenue Res are at home to Curshaws.
