NANTWICH Town are on their way to Stoke City's Britannia Stadium after a 1-0 win over Fulford in the Sentinel Shield semi-final.

Liam Prince got the only goal of the game to set up a final with either Longton or Audley Juniors on a date to be arranged.

In the South Cheshire League, Nantwich Town Dynamos U12s beat Berkeley Bombers 2-1 on Thursday thanks to a Daniel Warriner brace and then defeated Wistaston United CW 3-1 on Sunday with strikes from Josh Foster, Charlie Mills and Warriner.

On Saturday, Nantwich Town Diablos U12s thrashed Wistaston United CW (Jake Bedford 4, Mathew Bell, Ciaron Thorley, Michael Noon-an) before going down 2-0 against Alsager Celtic a day later.

The Dabbers are also through to the Stafford-shire County Minor Youth League Cup Final after a 4-2 at Stafford Town. Steve Pattinson scored a hat-trick and Dale Berrisford also netted.

Nantwich will meet Leek CSOB in the final at Stone Dominoes on May 13.

The Crewe and Nantwich U7s were unbeaten and topped their group but narrowly missed out with a 5-4 loss to Macclesfield in the semi-final of the cup.

The U8 teams entertained 28 teams and 300 players at their home ground, and were un-lucky runners-up in the Plate competition.

The U9 team closed off a great season as joint winners of the Cheshire Cup after a drawn final with Macclesfield. The U11 team reached the semi-final of the cup only to lose by a single try to Altrincham Kersal after topping their group.

Cheshire Rangers won the Division Two under 15s league cup with a 3-0 against Fenton Rangers in the Cheadle and District League on Sunday, with a hat-trick from Danny Croft.

It was heartache for Crewe & Nantwich Girls U10s who were beaten on penalties by Macclesfield Town in the final of the Cheshire Girls KO Cup.

They had cruised through the semi-final with a 4-0 win over Sandbach United. Four goals from Eve Davenport, one of which was a rare header, secured the convincing win.

But they were denied in the penalty shootout after a wonder strike from Emily Fau Goodwin had brought the score to 1-1 seconds before the end of extra time.
