STEVE Carragher's title-chasing Linnets are up for their biggest challenge yet.
The boss says the players will need no motivation before Saturday's visit of Bootle (ko 3pm) and Easter Monday's trip to title rivals Winsford United (ko 7.45pm).
Winsford's victory at Wincham Park remains the only blemish on Linnets' home record in North West Counties League's Division Two.
Bootle, meanwhile, knocked Carragher's men out of the league's divisional cup.
But Linnets on Tuesday picked up their first away victory since December 16, winning 2-0 at Leek CSOB.
Carragher, while knowing there is still much work to do, is optimistic of promotion.
He said: 'The lads are grafting as well as playing the pretty football. I am quietly confident.'
Carragher dedicated the Harrison Park success, which ended a run of six away games in all competitions without an win, to the fans.
He said: 'The supporters have been our 12th man all season.
'We had another good following at Leek, the fans having travelled a fair distance to a midweek game.
'I really do appreciate everything they have done for us.
'They've been great and if we go up it will be a big achievement for the fans - they will have deserved it more than anyone.'
Centre-back Paddy O'Driscoll flicked home a Michael Young free-kick at the near post to give Runcorn an early lead.
Skipper Paul Scott beat four players to set up the second for 21-goal Dave Thompson before half-time.
Carragher added: 'We were brilliant from start to finish - every single one of them - and Scotty was unbelievable again.
'It was a workmanlike performance and some of the football was great.'
Thomas Lamb is eligible after suspension for the Winsford game.
Paul Parle was omitted at Leek after seeing recent form suffer and replaced at left-back by versatile Colin Flood - Jay Edwards coming into centrefield.
Carragher had intended to give deadline capture Neil Roberts a bench spot until the ex-St Helens midfieldman pulled a calf muscle.
* Tickets at £5, including buffet, are on sale for the club's presentation night at Pavilions on Friday, May 4 - tel Glyn Jones on 0787 0147988.
