BIG guns AFC Octel and arch-rivals Castrol Tessuti will contest this season's Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port League's George Williamson Memorial Jubilee Challenge Cup final, following Sunday's respective semi-final dismissals of Vauxhalls and FC Merebrook.

Cheshire FA Amateur Cup finalists Tessuti were indebted to Carl Ngiam(2), Ian Parry and Steve Morgan as Merebrook were dispatched 4-0, while Phil Selby and Paul Cockram fired the bullets as Octel drove Vauxhalls to despair in a nervy 2-1 triumph.

In Division One, four-goal marksman Mel Barnes was assisted by efforts from Alex Bain-bridge and Neil Hewitt as a rejuvenated LPSC Strawberry put a damp-ener on Phoenix's title chances in Sunday's 6-4 defeat.

Division Two leaders Princes Rovers had to rely on strikes from Graham Davies(2) and Steve Devoy to overcome the challenge of nearest rivals Ellesmere.

Parkside Rovers' Ian Kelly struck six times in his side's 8-4 win at SCFC.
