HALTON Soccer Skills enjoyed another trophy triumph when they beat AFC Waverton 2-1 in Chester and District Junior League's Under-13s Duke of Westminster Cup final at Chester City's Saunders Honda Stadium.

The Runcorn-based Sunday team - already league champions - are coached by Lee Bibby and Kevin Fleming and are drawn largely from Castlefields, Palacefields and Brookvale.

Their players also turn out on Saturdays for various sides in the Halton Junior League.

Goals from Anthony Fisher and Keiron Broughton earned Halton Soccer Skills the trophy with sub Edward Peel scoring in between for Waverton, the league runners-up.

Man-of-the-match for the winners was Gareth Hewitt.
