HOT-SHOT Eve Davenport smashed seven goals in two games as Crewe and Nantwich Girls U10s got their campaign off to a dream start.

The youngster hit a hat-trick as her team earned a 6-3 victory over Sand-bach United on Saturday, before adding another four in a 7-0 success over Witton Albion, when Sophie Brooks, Ellie Flood and Ellie Bohannan completed the scoring.

The club's U16s had keeper Zoe Bayliss to thank for saving a penalty soon after the start of their clash with Witton Albion, and goals from Geor-gina Brownrigg, Charlotte Purkiss (2), Jade Ducker (2), Michelle Saunders and Natalie Tomkins went on to secure a 7-0 victory.

Chris Maddox and Fred Dobberson were on the mark for Sandbach United U8 Eagles B team as they overcame Middlewich 2-1, while Alex Trevelyan, Jacob Swale (2) and Jonathon Gribbin got the goals as the U9 Tigers won 3-2 and drew 1-1 with Witton Albion.

The U10 Eagles struck through Tim Morris, Jack Newall, Cameron Turner, Jordan Ford and Connor Mclaughlin as they lost 4-2, and won 3-0, in games with Frodsham Park.

The U10 Falcons hit the net through Jack Hart, Sam Stoneley (2), Dan Lowe and an own goal as they lost 2-1 and 5-4 to Frodsham Town, while the U11 Eagles beat Middlewich Town 2-0 thanks to Tom Forster and Harry Edwards.

The U14 Eagles lost 5-4 at Heathfield despite strikes from Jake Buckley (2) and Tim Roberts (2), while Adam Clayton's goal was just consolation for the U14 Falcons in their 4-1 defeat to Egerton.

The efforts of Phil Smith (2) Tom Morris were enough to hand the U15 Tigers a 3-2 success over Egerton, but goals from Matt Kay and Matt Hinton were academic as the U18 Tigers lost 6-2 to Tarporley Wanderers.

Nantwich Town U16s won their Potteries Junior Youth League Division One clash with Longton Harriers 5-1, thanks to Matt Freeman (2), Steve McNicol, Adam Dawson and Ethan Tizard.
