CHESTER CITY have injury and suspension worries as they prepare for their final Coca Cola League two match of the season at Oxford United tomorrow.

Definitely ruled out of the game are defender Sean Hessey and striker Joe O'Neill who are both suspended. Leading scorer Michael Branch will also miss the match because of a knee injury.

To add to the club's selection worries tomorrow are goalkeeper Wayne Brown (knee) and midfielder Stewart Drummond (thigh) who suffered training ground injuries.

City manager Keith Curle said: "We are down to the bare bones squad-wise and I will be glad to see the end of this game, and start preparing for next season.

"We have a lot of work to do in the close season, and I am looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead, but first I want to see an encouraging performance form the players at Oxford."

Meanwhile Chester have been quoted a six figure fee by Doncaster Rovers for their prolific striker Greg Blundell.

The former Northwich Victoria player has been a target for City during the past few months, and it is understood that the player is keen on a move back to his native North West.
