CHESTER CITY'S management duo of Ian Rush and Mark Aizlewood turned up at the Deva Stadium today to take training and prepare the players for Saturday's game against in-form Southend United.

It appears Rush and Aizlewood and City chairman Stephen Vaughan are now at loggerheads over how they will vacate their positions at the club.

Events between the parties have been deteriorating over the past few weeks as City's recent form began to slide.

The situation came to a head on Monday when Vaughan met his management team to discuss the current events at the club, as well as the team's form.

It is said ex-Liverpool striker Rush and Aizle-wood were offered a financial settlement by Vaughan to allow them to leave City earlier this week. However, that offer was declined.

It is unclear whether the pair will still be in charge of playing affairs on Saturday.

No-one was available for comment today.
