ANYONE who has endured one of Sam Allardyce’s press conferences will know the West Ham boss is better at the ‘Woe is Me’ diatribe than most.

But even by his own standards Allardyce is way off the money with his latest moan. He reckons he is being unjustly scrutinised by the press who give David Moyes an easy ride in comparison.

Allardyce is irked because both managers are out of contract in the summer but he feels like a lone target. “It’s a bit of an old hat story because we’ve been talking about it for such a long time,” he whinged. “But you haven’t been talking about David Moyes in the same context. His contract is up at Everton this year and it doesn’t look like there has been any negotiations.”

I’m sure Moyes, who has answered countless questions about his future – usually with patience if not always clarity – would beg to differ.
