SWINDON Town posed problems for Chester, but not as many as referee Ray Lee according to Mark Wright after he awarded a penalty after the ball seemed to hit Dave Artell on the back.
'The referee had an absolute stinker,' said Wright. 'Artell's turned his back and his arms are in the air. How do they give penalty decisions like that?
'When he sees it he should be embarrassed. It's the same lad who gave two penalties against us at Barnet which was unacceptable as well.
'So he's got that in his locker to give dubious penalties and whether I get into trouble or not it doesn't matter much.
'When we get judged and assessed and players get assessed why shouldn't refs? We had a penalty shout in the first half which looked more of a handball than the one against us ever did.
'The game was hard for us. I'm not saying they didn't have the lion's share of the first half. They used the wind and whipped some balls under our bar. We gave away some silly free kicks. Our three centre-halfs did well, though, and John Danby was outstanding.'
