BLUES boss Mark Wright insisted that the focus on Saturday's 2-0 win at Peterborough United should be on the team - and not him.

Wright was sacked by the Posh for alleged gross misconduct in January and is fighting to clear his name.

A headed goal from Jon Walters and a Mark Arber own goal made it a sweet homecoming for the Chester boss, who said: 'I was here at London Road and last year I would have got them promotion.

' I was so confident of that and the players were responding and working well and all of a sudden for Barry Fry to do the things he did and say the things he did, it isn't finished yet.

'I like the supporters, the club and the players but to come back and win in the style we did was gratifying for me.

'It's not a vendetta but we are a much smaller club and we put a very good side together and made them look ordinary.'
