WINSFORD-based Saxons, who beat Holmes Chapel 2-0 in last season's final, have been drawn at home to Pockets in the second round of the Mid-Cheshire FA Sunday Cup to be played on November 19.

In what should be a highly competitive game Pockets will be hoping to cause an upset.

In the Premier division of the Mid-Cheshire Sunday League, leaders St Joseph's dropped their first points when they were held to a goalless draw at home by Rifleman. This enabled Middlewich Town Supporters to move up within one point by beating reigning champions Cranford Rangers 2-1.

In Division One, Coachman went three points clear with their fourth straight win, by 2-1 at Gate Inn.

Moulton Lion Hotel also stay three points ahead of the field in Division Two thanks to a handsome 6-1 win at Barnton against Barn Owl.
