Chester FC march on.

That's now seven games unbeaten in the Vanarama National League for the Blues.

In fact they have lost just once in the league in their last 17 matches.

Remarkable stuff.

And it's a run which kick-started with the 0-0 draw at Aldershot back on September 10.

But on Saturday the Shots were no match for Jon McCarthy's men.

They ran out 2-0 winners thanks to strikes from Jordan Chapell and top-scorer James Alabi, who made it five goals in as many games after missing a penalty.

Terry Marland was at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium to capture the best of the action.
