On Saturday, Chester Nomads Seconds were 4-2 winners at Kydds Athletic in the Premier Division with goals by Andrew Mitchell, John Backford, John Appleton andMikeBoswell withJohnMaddockand Mike Neary replying for the hosts.

Waggon & Horses edged their game against Upton Borough by the odd goal in seven, thanks to Lee Whelan (2), Graham Bennion and Paul Bennion, while Gary Andrews, Neil Cartwright and Sam Carr netted for Boro.

In the Division One derby Tarvin Athletic crushed Barrow Seconds (Paul Horan) 8-1 with goals by Sean Roberts (3), Paul Dotchin, Jamie Dowling, John Wyatt, Steve Whittaker and John McLoughlin.

In the Sunday League's Section A Game-keeper went joint top by beating bottom club Wheelwright Arms 4-1 with goals by Sam Carr, Gareth Stevenson and Mike Moran, while four-goal Phil Hamilton inspired Grosvenor to a 7-1 victory at Stanley Arms (Ian Smith) with Steve Cairns (2) and Shane Futcher completing the rout.

Dee Rangers came from behind to beat Upton 5-1 in Section B, Daniel Delgado and Mike Appolonio hitting doubles after Jon Smith had levelled with a long range shot.

Vicars Cross Dynamos hit Tarvin Rex for six with one goal in reply in the third round of the Aldford Glass Sunday Cup.
