MIDDLEWICH turned up the heat on Lostock in Saturday's Mid Cheshire FA Senior Cup qualifier.

They were two up by the break and the second half was one-way traffic.

A Lee Murphy penalty and Rob Hopley put Town in command against the inexperienced Grey Lambs, and the second-half goals flowed through Will Killey (2), Joey Roberts and Murphy.

Ex-Lostock boss Pete Gibbon is hoping to force his way into the reckoning at Middlewich, though there was no place for him in Saturday's starting line-up. Former manager Chris Peers is again in charge.
