MICHELLE Evans has been capped for England after she represented the Ladies' U19s team in the European Championships in Germany.
The 16-year-old St David's High School sixth former has been part of the squad for the past six months, having made her debut last year against Sweden in a friendly.
England reached the semi-final of the tournament after wins against Sweden and Italy, but were beaten by France 2-0.
Michelle, who plays on the left side of midfield for Tranmere Rovers Ladies, is now preparing to play against the Republic of Ireland on March 19 at Gravesend & Northfleet's ground in Kent. She will meet up with the rest of the squad next week in preparation for the game.
