LOSTOCK Reserves have claimed the first piece of Crewe and District League silverware, lifting the Division One title after a 4-1 win over Sandbach Town.

James Kimber, John O'Sullivan, Mike Harrison and Jack Bryning all scored for the new champions, with Gerard Bowyer netting for Town.

Sandbach United (Martin Pollard, Peter Barrow) drew 2-2 at Weavers in the Inter-League Cup, but went out 6-5 on penalties.

Ian Slinger bagged a hat-trick as Congleton Athletic made it through to the next round by hammering Poynton Kingfisher 8-2.

In the Crewe Regional Sunday League President's Cup semi-finals, Boot & Shoe Villa (Mark Charlesworth, Matthew Scallan) lost a 2-0 lead to go down 4-2 to Bentley Motors (John Scarlett, Scott Edwards, Daryl Scarlett, Peter Robinson).

AC Wickstead (Ade Zidek, Brian Adams, Mike Gannon) also made the final with a 3-0 win over The Express.

In the Premier Division, a Richard Ford strike for Nantwich Young Farmers earned a 1-0 win over Faddiley. Willaston White Star (Chris Morris, Martin Caldwell, Dave Maynard 2) crushed Betley 4-0.

Division One leaders Audlem DK (Rick Crowther, Gary Gordon) went down 5-2 to Beeston Hotel (Will Stewart, Bob Jones, Sean Marsh, Aaron Brown 2).

Fox Elworth (Colin Hemmings 3, Ray Matthews) overcame Cheshire Rangers 4-0, while Railway Hotel (Adam Parker 3, Andy Truan 3, Keith Gibbs, Steve Parker and Duncan Skelding) destroyed Salvador (Chris Jackson) 9-1. AFC Barkode (Mike Walton 3, David Barker) as they eased past JTS Wistaston (Ben Reddock) 4-1.

In the Cheshire Border Counties League, Black Bear (Brennan, Thompson, Burkby, Huff 2) made it to the semi-finals of the Division One Cup with a 5-0 win over Horseshoe. Military Arms (Jackson, Malbon) overcame the Farmers 2-1 in their cup game.

In Division One, bottom club Scholar Green (Trigg) went down 2-1 to Mere Inn (Baddiley, Varney). SLB Cars (Antony, Crawley, Alintah) eased their relegation worries with a 3-2 victory over Rode Heath (Hart 2).

In the Division Two Cup, Boot & Shoe (Rodgers) lost 3-1 to Brunel (Woolley, Sinclair, Muffit).

In Division Two Malbank (Billington 2, Armstrong) moved into second spot with a 3-2 win over Potting Shed (Griffiths, Teabow). Leisure Club thrashed Cumberland 10-2.
