LIVERPOOL FC's Dirk Kuyt has agreed a three-year deal with Turkish giants Fenerbahce today.

The 32-year-old Dutch international will leave Anfield for a fee in excess of £1m.

With just 12 months remaining on his contract, Kuyt wants to go in search of regular first-team opportunities and though a host of European clubs were said to be chasing his signature, Fenerbahce have won the race.

The deal is yet to be rubber stamped but is expected to be finalised in the coming days.

Kuyt has spent six seasons at Liverpool since joining from Feyenoord for £9m in the summer of 2006 and used a clause in his contract which allowed him to speak with other clubs whilst still with the Reds.
