MARK Wright does not expect his cross-border counterpart to be troubled by the loss of key centre-back Dennis Lawrence.

Wrexham sold their 6ft 7in Trinidad international to Swansea City on Wednesday, which means Racecourse manager Denis Smith will be forced into a defensive reshuffle for Sunday's trip to Chester.

Blues boss Wright said: 'It's a plus for us because it's another one of their big giants out of their side, but Denis Smith knows the game inside out and he will have something sorted.

'Dennis Lawrence does exceptionally well and I've got a lot of time for him.

'I think Wrexham will miss him but, at the end of the day, it's one of those things they've got to get on with.'

Either Mike Williams or Shaun Pejic are likely to come in for Lawrence.
