It has been widely reported that North Ferriby United brought just TWO supporters to Chester FC on Tuesday night.
But we can confirm that the official away attendance was... SIX!
The story of struggling Ferriby's support has been picked up by the national media after a tweet from @AwayDays was shared across Twitter.
But the press in attendance, including our own Dave Powell, were told that six travelling fans made the 260-mile round trip.
On a freezing cold night, they weren't exactly rewarded.
Chester roared to a 3-0 win which moved them up to eighth in the Vanarama National League standings and left the Villagers rooted to the bottom of the table and six points from safety.
But the hardy Ferriby fans were given a well deserved round of applause from their hosts.
