LIVERPOOL’S third against Swansea was the best team goal I’ve seen all season.
It was exactly the kind of pass and move attacking football Brendan Rodgers is looking to instil.
Swansea were carved apart with some slick one-touch stuff and Jose Enrique ensured a brilliant move got the finish it deserved.
As Alan Hansen would say it was ‘sensational’ and I loved watching it.
We created so many chances and it was a totally dominant performance.
Things are coming together with Daniel Sturridge scoring goals and Steven Gerrard in great form. Luis Suarez has maintained the standards he’s set all season, Philippe Coutinho has got off to a good start and there are others like Stewart Downing coming to the fore.
We just have to keep going in the league and see where it takes us.
The top four may have gone but with Spurs, Everton and Chelsea still to come to Anfield we need to win those games to put down a marker for next season.
