THE fact we have only kept one clean sheet in eight games so far this season is a concern.

It was interesting to see Pepe Reina shouting at his defenders in the second half on Saturday.

The message was clear: ‘Get out!’

Our back four dropped far too deep and then Lucas and Charlie Adam dropped on top of the back four.

It meant we couldn’t get out of our own half and we created problems for ourselves.

Just like a striker who needs a goal, the back four need a clean sheet to boost confidence.

There’s plenty to work on at Melwood this week ahead of the derby.
