SAUGHALL Colts enjoyed back-to-back victories in the Under 11s division.

Having defeated Malpas and District 6-0 last Thursday, they ran out 3-2 winners over Blacon Youth on Sunday thanks to a hat-trick by man of the match Jamie Blythin.

Against Malpas, Blythin was on target twice and there were other goals from Adam Thorley, Matty Taylor, Robert Nicholson and Simon Rollins.

MoM for Colts was Matty Taylor. In the U12 section last Thursday, Malpas and District claimed a 7-1 win over Blacon Youth Tigers.

Malpas put in a solid performance and their goals went to Adam Flanagan, Ryan Jones (5) and Peter Hoxworth.

Blacon's marksman was Zak Threadgold.

Chester Nomads fell to a 4-3 defeat to Newton Athletic, whose scorers were Andrew Laban, Henry Matthews, Ben Jones and Ben Roberts.

On target for Nomads were Michael McCormack, Robert Heffernan and Carl Griffiths.

Ben Spaven scored to give AFC Waverton a 1-0 win over Upton Lions.

Hat-trick ace Jonny Steventon was MoM for Pulford in their 6-0 win over Tattenhall.

Pulford's other scorers were Kallum Marsden (2) and Rory Benson.

Pulford finished their season with a cracking team display on Sunday, beating Elton 9-1.

The pick of the Pulford goals was a back-post volley by full-back Will Scott after a fine run and cross by influential midfielder Jonny Steventon.

The goal of the game was scored by Elton, with Ethan Marshall, who gave a fine goalkeeping display in the first half, crashing home a fierce shot from the edge of the box. Pulford's MoM was the whole team.

Blacon Youth came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Westminster Park.

Blacon's goalscorers were Zak Threadgold, Tommy Harries and Martin Bromwich, with Agustine Bangura their MoM.

James Dare was star man for Malpas and District in their 5-0 loss to Upton Lions.

Goals from James Hardman, Jacob Coan, Sam Manton, James Smith, David Thompson, Ben Keable, Joe Subert, Joshua Morgan-Jones, Mike Treen and Steve Treen gave Waverton a 10-0 win over Chester Nomads Colts.

In the U13 division, Saughall Colts ran out 4-1 winners over Bretton Super Saints last Thursday.

Liam McFadden (2) and Mark Kelly (2) were the Saughall scorers.

On Sunday, Sam Tougher was a hat-trick ace for Saughall as they signed off for the season with a 5-2 win over Blacon Youth.

Mark Kelly and Matty Green were also on target.

Goals from Declan Gibson (4) and Conor Arden (3) gave Newton Athletic a 7-2 win at Malpas and District, whose scorers were Adam Taylor and Thomas Hewitt.
