LINCOLN City boss Peter Jackson has been handed a two-match touchline ban by the FA after an incident following Chester City’s 1-0 win at Sincil Bank on November 2.

Jackson admitted a breach of the FA rule covering abusive and/or insulting language.

The sanction will mean that Jackson, a former Chester player who was touted for the job of Blues boss prior to Bobby Williamson’s appointment, will have to watch the Imps’ home games against Barnet and Darlington from the stands and pay a £300 fine.
