SEA Horse saw off Hope Farm Rangers Reserves with a resounding 6-1 away win in the George Williamson Memorial Jubilee Challenge Cup.

There was a brace each for Mark Evans and Steve James while a Mark Roberts strike and an own goal completed the home side's misery. Chris Hawker responded.

Hope Farm's first team fared little better with a similar home defeat to Kingkabs. Goals from Danny Hughes and James Murphy were no match for a Chris Dargon hat-trick, with one from John Laffan to make it 4-2 to the visitors.

The Challenge Cup threw up two more 4-2 scorelines.

The first came as FC Sportsman's registered a home victory against RBL Little Sutton. Simon Thelwell and Barry Lloyd scored for the Sportsman's with Eric Williams and Steve Brown netting for the visitors.

The other came as Travellers Rest lost at home to Westminster Reserves. Travellers Rest struck twice through Phil Evans and Ben Farmer but Westminster were queuing up to get on the scoresheet with Paul Boyle, Scott Forsyth, James Armstrong and Matthew Concannon all hitting the target.

The highest scoring match came as SC Ellesmere went down 5-3 at home to Woodlands. Despite Luke Hunt, Des Diamond and Daniel Ramsey scoring for Ellesmere, Woodlands answered with five, with two each for Peter Boyle and Rob Sheppard and one from Anthony Fisher.

The other three cup games all saw the home sides notching up victories. Tony Bedward, Mark Livens and Chris Doyle hit home as The Bull beat LPSC 3-2, with Rob Burrows and Chris Vollands scoring the replies. Princes thumped Hugo Travel.co.uk 3-0, with Graham Davies striking twice and Andy Owen netting to make it three.

Grace scorers Mark Knox, Scott Rowley and Rob Davies claimed the third home victory, easing past FC Merebrook. Graham Carvell and Andy Owen both scored to make it 3-2.

In the League, the two Premier Division games both saw home victories as well. Andy Cliberry and Ryan Nicholls made it 2-0 for Old Wirral Hundred against Vauxhall, and Westminster followed their reserves with a 1-0 win over Castrol Sports, Stewart Carroll the scorer.

Strikes from Damien Walters and Gary Handley were equalled by Lee Hallmark and Mark Bevan as Sutton Villa drew 2-2 at home with FC Milestone in Division One.
