CHRISTLETON will be left to stew on Saturday's embarrassing defeat to relegation-haunted Castrol Social.

The mid-table Division One outfit fell 1-0 at home to a side who came into the game with just three wins to their name.

Christleton, who are ninth, have no game tomorrow, but manager Peter Herbert is prom-ising to give his men a wake-up call before their Cheshire Amateur Cup semi final against Ellesmere Port at the end of the month.

Fourth-placed Vauxhall Motors Reserves - whose trip to Merseyside Police on Saturday fell foul to the weather - host New Brighton tomorrow. nAll of Saturday's games involving Chester outfits in Division Two were postponed.

Tomorrow, second-placed Upton AA look to maintain their

title challenge with victory at Heswall Reserves.

Upton are nine points behind leaders Maghull Reserves, but have three games in hand on them - the first of which comes tomorrow.

Third-placed Blacon Youth Club have no match, but rock-bottom Christleton Reserves host fellow-strugglers Pensby. Helsby - who sit one place above Christleton - entertain Capenhurst Villa.

Chester Nomads, who are comfortable in mid-table, head to Poulton Victoria Reserves. nSt Werburgh's and Upton AA Reserves enjoyed comprehensive Division Three successes on Saturday.

The 10-men hosts brushed aside visitors Focus 3-0 thanks to a Joey Waters hat-trick, with

all his goals coming in the last 25 minutes.

Upton were even more emphatic, as they crushed Ellesmere Port Reserves 4-1 thanks to a double from Danny Andrews and singles from John Cadwallader and Martin Mc-Grath.

St Werburgh's, who have moved up to seventh, travel to Mersey Royal tomorrow, while Upton, in 10th, host Grange Athletic.
