BLUES chairman Stephen Vaughan has praised boss Mark Wright and commercial manager Bob Gray for their efforts in securing training facilities for the forthcoming season.

The Blues have resolved their training ground dilemma by arranging to use the Castrol Sports ground in Ellesmere Port and Vaughan is hoping the deal will pay dividends.

He said: 'We have secured a deal with the people at Castrol to use their facilities for the next 12 months.

'It is a good deal for us and it is all down to the hard work of Mark Wright and Bob Gray.

'We wanted to keep it as local as possible and thanks to Mark and Bob we have managed to do that.'
