VAUXHALL Motors play host to Scarborough at Rivacre Park on Saturday in a crucial fixture for both camps - and Pioneer readers are being offered a special opportunity to support their local team.
Any adult taking along a copy of this week's Pioneer with them to Rivacre Park will be allowed into the match for just £5, while their their children will be allowed in completely free.
Motors chairman Alan Bartlam said: 'We really need the help of the local footballing folk to lend their support to our cause.
'This has now become a huge game for us and we are therefore offering this incentive to all Pioneer readers to get behind the team this Saturday.'
After a number of disappointing results, the Motormen are now left anxiously looking over their shoulders, having slipped into the bottom six for the first time this season.
Former Football League side Scarborough, meanwhile, are at last close to escaping the bottom three after recov
ering from having a 10-point deduction imposed on them for going into administration.
They gained a shock win over leaders Droylsden on Saturday while the Motormen were without a fixture.
Motors boss Carl Macauley will have both captain Stephen McNulty and striker Lee Furlong back after suspension.
