FROM the Theatre of Dreams to Saughall's Seahill Road playing fields, a team of Canadian youngsters certainly made the most of their stay in Chester.

Players from Comox Valley United Soccer Club in Vancouver Island visited the city as part of an exchange trip with Saughall Colts under 14s.

The visit was set up by former Saughall resident Paul Butcher, who now lives in Canada.

While staying in Chester with the Saughall players, the Comox Valley team played a match against the Colts' U14s and ended up on the wrong end of a 5-0 scoreline.

The Canadians also took in the thrills of Manchester United's 7-1 Champions League quarter final thrashing of Roma at Old Trafford as well as going on a tour of Liverpool's Anfield home and watching a Premiership match at Manchester City.

Saughall's players are now raising funds for the return trip to Canada this summer.
