AIRBUS UK Broughton welcome FA Cup finalists and Premier League giants Everton to the Airfield on Saturday (3pm) for the biggest game of the Wingmakers’ warm-up.

David Moyes has promised Airbus boss Craig Harrison – who was on loan at Preston North End when Moyes was manager – to send a team of youngsters and fringe players for the match, with Everton’s first team being in action at Rochdale on the same day.

Tickets are priced £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 under 16s.

Airbus will go into the game in confident mood after making a glorious start to their pre-season campaign.

In the opening game, Harrison’s new-look side enjoyed a magnificent 6-2 against Llangollen Town with debutant Marc Lloyd-Williams netting a hat-trick and others coming from fellow debutant Carl Owen, Tom Povey and Garry McConnell.

A 3-1 defeat of Buckley Town followed with Lloyd-Williams netting two and Owen on the mark again.

The friendly against Gresford Athletic, due to take place tomorrow (Friday 17), has been cancelled, as has the game against Chester, originally scheduled for Tuesday.
