UBERLUBE hit double figures in the Chester and District League Cup on Saturday.

Stephen Dodd led the way with four goals in a 10-1 demolition of Saughall Thursday in round two. Matty Elson (3), Graham Dodd (2) and Tom Berry got the other goals, with Jason Little replying for Saughall.

The Peacock got the better of Cross Foxes in round two of the Chester FA Challenge Cup, winning 2-0 thanks to goals by Dave Roberts and Jamie Hughes.

Joey Waters was the hero for Lache in their Cayzer Shield second round meeting with Groves. He bagged a hat-trick in a 4-3 win, Adi Callaghan scoring the other goal.

In the Chester and District League, Little Sutton Villa still top the Link Up Division Three table despite being held to a 0-0 draw at Bronze Social.

Adam Cartwright’s goal was not enough for Chester Athletic as they lost 4-1 at home to Central Park, while Ellesmere Port enjoyed a fine 3-1 home win over Seven Stiles, Nathan Mapletoft scoring twice.

Elton Rigger hit the goal trail, beating Oldershaw Athletic 11-3 thanks to strikes by Bill Sammut (4), Mark Hobson (2), Craig Jones (2), Lee Lepts, Dave Richards and James McGrane.

Ridgewood Rangers hosted Arrow Park and fell to a 3-2 defeat.
