CHESTER Nomads and Upton AA have booked their place in the Chester FA Senior Cup final.

Nomads enjoyed a 3-0 win against Blacon YC thanks to Dan Riley and a Ross Hardstaff brace, while Upton went behind to a Ross Broadbent free-kick but fought back to beat Highfield Athletic 2-1. James Bignall and Gareth Edwards got the goals.

Premier Division bottom side City Bar drew 2-2 with high-flying Castrol Social.

Paul Head and Danny McLoughlan scored for City with Mark Kimpton and Tom Craig replying.

Kelsall beat Newton Bears (John Briscoe, Liam McGovern) 4-2 in their mid-table clash, thanks to strikes from James Thompson, Jordan Smith, Rich Edwards and Andrew James.

John Wyatt scored for Tarvin Athletic but it wasn’t enough as the second-bottom side crashed 3-1 to third-placed Chester Nomads 2nds.

In Division One action, Matty Cross, Kelvin Rodderick and Danny Rose scored for Highfield Athletic 2nds in their 3-2 defeat of Woodlands (own goal, Chris Gatrell).

Parkgate were comfortable 4-0 winners at Duddon United and Jake Harrison fired Robin Hood to a 1-0 win at Ashton Lions.
