SAUGHALL Colts went nap to beat Blacon Youth 5-1 in the under 14s division.

Shaun Arathoon and Jake Andrews each scored penalties for Colts. Andrews got a second while Greg Dymond and Chris Youde also found the net. Man-of-the-match was Sam Patchitt.

In the U13s section, Tattenhall fired 10 past hosts Chester Nomads without reply despite the game pausing temporarily due to snow. Among Tattenhall's scorers were Lewis Jones who got four and recent recruit Guy Huxley with three. Tattenhall MoM was Jake Dutton, while Nomads' was keeper Ryan Lightfoot.

There was another 10-goal team in the U12s as Newton beat Westminster Park Warriors 10-1. Newton scored through MoM Matthew Lewis (3), Jack White (2), Josh Henney, Jacob Rhoden, Dale McKay, Steven Bellis and James Martin.

Bretton Super Saints saw off Saughall Colts 3-1 with goals from Charlie Bradford, Adam Joinson and Jake Williams. Colts' scorer was Jamie Blythin. Their MoM was Liam Elsden, Saints' was Adam Kelly.

Waverton defeated Upton Blues 4-2 in the U11s section thanks in part to a hat-trick from Jack Gittins and a volley from Matt McClelland. Upton scored through Toby Venables and Joshua Dymond.
