Frodsham weeded out Gardeners, winning 4-0 with Lee Ireland and Graham Search bagging two each.

Upton YC and Corner Pin cancelled each other out, finishing up 3-3. Simon Hunka (2) and Matty Crank scored for hosts Upton but Corner Pin replied through Lee Evans and Lee Woodworth.

Dale Harris and Akos Kovak were on target for Custom House against Bromfield Arms, but they only earned a point as the game ended 2-2, Nathan Freeman and Liam Durkin equalising.

Financial Solutions Section C took the award for the biggest score of the day, as Western Rangers came out on top in a 14-goal match against Grosvenor Celtic. Rangers won 13-1 thanks to braces from Ian Smith, James Thompson and Gareth Lee, plus goals from Pat Bleakley, James O’Neill, Richard Deponeo, Nick Henderson, Ed Bloomer, Shaun Doolan and, to compound the defeat, an own goal.

Greyhound travelled to Carlton and won 4-1. Dan Lancaster found the net for Carlton but doubles from Lee Edwards and Lee Woodworth secured the points for Greyhound.

A Will Armstrong brace was enough to give Red Lion an 2-1 victory over St Theresa’s. Ring O’Bells’ Carl Jenkins struck twice to defeat Anchor 2-0.

Tattenhall scored three times at home and lost as Inter Barrow beat them 5-3.
