VAUXHALL MOTORS looked to be heading for a creditable and deserved draw at Farsley until a goal deep into injury time consigned then to a second successive Nationwide Conference North defeat.

The Motormen had grabbed the lead on the half hour mark after an uneventful start, when Tom Field hit a sweet 20-yard strike beyond the reach of Celtic keeper Morgan, but the hosts fought back three minutes later when Grant latched on to a long ball before squaring his pass to Sugden, who equalised from close in.

Celtic then took the lead just before the break when Motors failed to clear their lines from a corner and Grant profited, again from close range.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men on 58 minutes when Motors' Lee Furlong and Stabb from Farsley were shown red cards following an off-the-ball incident.

The visitors kept plugging away and after Brian Moogan had seen his 30-yard piledriver tipped over, they drew level on 74 minutes when Joe McMahon headed on for Karl O'Donnell to convert.

The Motormen thought they had regained the lead five minutes from time when Anthony Wright struck an excellent shot beyond Morgan, only to be denied by an assistant's flag and just when a draw looked on the cards, Bambrook hit a beauty direct from a free kick 20 yards out, deep into time added on.
